Why is the price range so wide?
When you ask how much a website costs, the answer is always "it depends" — but that's not a dodge. The difference between 50 EUR and 5000 EUR exists for concrete reasons, and it's worth understanding them before you decide.
Up to 100 EUR: templates and DIY platforms
Wix, Squarespace, WordPress.com — platforms that give you a ready-made template you customise yourself. Cheap, but limited. The problem: thousands of businesses look identical, technical SEO is weak, speed varies, and you pay a subscription every year forever.
200–600 EUR: professional custom website
This is the sweet spot for most small businesses. You get a site designed specifically for you — not a template. Includes mobile design, SEO basics, a contact form and everything you need to start. Our basic website starts at 200 EUR.
600–2000 EUR: site with admin panel or webshop
If you need to update content yourself, manage products or accept online payments — the price increases due to database and admin interface development. Justified for businesses with frequent content changes or online sales.
2000+ EUR: complex web applications
Multilingual sites, booking systems, third-party integrations, custom portals — these require more time and expertise. Most small businesses don't need this at the start.
What to watch out for?
• Hidden costs: always ask if hosting and domain are included.
• Code ownership: do you own the site or are you just a platform user?
• Maintenance: who updates the site after launch and what does it cost?
